MI vs CSK: MI won by 8 runs, Harbhajan Singh Man of the Match

Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by 8 runs in the 25th match of the IPL 2011. The match was played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

CSK won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first MI managed to score 164 runs in 20 overs losing 4 wickets. Start of MI was not so good. R Satish was out on duck, Sachin Tendulkar scored 5 runs only. A Rayudu was out after scoring 27 runs. R Sharma batted well and completed his half-century. He scored 87 runs in 48 balls with the help of 8 fours and 5 sixes.

Andrew Symonds scored 31 runs in 26 balls. In 20 overs, MI scored 164 runs losing 4 wickets.

From CSK's bowling side, D Bollinger took 2 wickets while A Morkel and S Randiv took 1 wicket each.

Chasing the target of of 165 runs, start of CSK was good, Murli Vijay was out after scoring 12 runs and Suresh Raina was out on 5 runs only.

Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 9 wickets in the 24th match of IPL 2011. RCB won the toss and elected to field first. The match was played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Batting first, KKR managed to score 171 runs in 20 overs. Start of the KKR was good, J Kallis scored 40 runs while B Haddin was out after scoring 18 runs.

Skipper, Gautam Gambhir scored 48 runs, Yusuf Pathan scored 46 runs in 24 balls only with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes. E Morgan was run-out on 6 runs.

From RCB's bowling side, S Aravind took 2 wickets, JS Mohammad and D Vettori took 1 wicket each.

Chasing the target of 172 runs, RCB started very well, the opening stand between Chris Gayle and T Dilshan was of 123 runs. T Dilshan was out after scoring 38 runs while Chris Gayle scored century. He scored 102 runs in 55 balls with the help of 10 fours and 7 sixes. Virat Kohli scored 30 runs.

KXIP vs RR: KXIP won by 48 runs, S Marsh Man of the Match

Kings XI Punjab defeated Rajasthan Royals by 48 runs in the 23rd match of IPL 2011, played at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali.

RR won the toss and elected to field first, batting first, KXIP started very well and both the opners played well and scored 67 runs in 4.2 overs. Adam Gilchrist scored 28 runs in 16 balls with the help of 4 fours and a six. Paul Valthaty scored 46 runs in 31 balls with the help of 4 fours and three sixes.

Shaun Marsh played well and completed his half century, he scored 71 runs in 42 balls with the help of 6 fours and 3 sixes. Dinesh Karthik scored 21 runs and KXIP managed to score 195 runs in 20 overs losing 7 wickets.

From RR's bowling side, S Tait took 3 wickets, S Watson 2 and S Warne 1 wicket.

Chasing the target of 196 runs, start of RR was not so good, both the openers were out early in the match. SA Asnodkar scored 9 runs, Rahul Dravid was out after scoring 8 runs only. Binny scored 30 runs, Watson scored 24 runs. AL Menaria was the top scorer from the team, he was out after scoring 34 runs.

RR managed to score 147 runs in 20 overs losing 7 wickets. From KXIP's bowling side, P Kumar and BA Bhatt took 2 wickets each while Harris, Chawla and McLaren took 1 wicket each.

Mumbai Indians defeated Pune Warriors by 7 wickets in the 21st match of IPL 2011, played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Pune Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first.

Batting first, Pune Warriors scored 118 runs in 20 overs. J Ryder scored 12 runs, TD Paine got out on 2 while M Manhas was out on duck.

Robin Uthappa was the top scorer from the team, he socred 45 runs in 37 balls with the help of 6 fours and a six. Skipper, Yuvraj Singh was out on duck. MD Mishra scored 12, M Kartik 11, R Sharma 13 runs.

From Mumbai Indians bowling side, Munaf Patel took 3 wickets, Murtaza, Malinga and A Ahmed took 2 wickets each while J Franklin took 1 wicket.

Chasing the target of 119 runs, start of Mumbai Indians was not so good as opener, J Franklin was out after scoring only 6 runs. Sachin Tendulkar scored 35 runs, A Rayudu scored 37 runs, R Sharma went not out on 20 and Andrew Symonds also went not out on 16 runs.

KTK vs CSK: KTK won by 7 wickets, B McCullum Man of the Match

Kochi Tuskers defeated Chennai Super Kings by 7 wickets in the 18th match of IPL 2011, played at Nehru Stadium, Kochi. KTK won the toss and elected to field first.

Batting first CSK scored 131 runs in 17 overs. The match was of 17 overs after rain interrupted the match. Start of the CSK was not good, M Hussey was out after scoring 8 run only. Murali Vijay scored 28 runs.

Suresh Raina was the top scorer from CSK's team, he scored 50 runs in 40 balls with the helo of 5 fours and a six. S Badrinath was out after scoring 19 runs.

MS Dhoni and A Morkel went not-out, Dhoni scored 14 runs while Morkel scored 9 runs. CSK manage to score 131 runs in 17 overs losing 4 wickets.
